Every Playable Character or PC in this game has stats. These stats are as follows: Melee, Magic, Defense, and Speed. At the start of the game, you will receive a +5 stats to distribute in any stat you choose. To increase your stats, you must gain exp through quest, events, battle, train (See: Training) and this can be done once a week.
What do your stats do? Your stats determine various things: How accurate certain attacks are, how well you are at dodging certain attacks and much, much more. For modded battles, your stats are converted into something called Secondaries. (See: Secondaries) Those are the actual values used to determine directly whether an attack hits or misses.

Power Level
- Spoiler:
- On Kingdom Hearts Chronicles, we call the combined total of all your stats your Power Level and it affects many aspects of your character’s battle capabilities.. Your PL is the sum of all of your stats together, then multiplied by 10.
Equation
Power Level or PL = (Melee + Magic + Defense + Speed) * 10
Character Level
- Spoiler:
- Character Level or CL is determined by the amount of Experience points gained. It also has various uses within our system and ranges from one to one hundred. You determine your Character Level by taking your exp and dividing it by 100 (rounded down to the nearest whole number).
The Max Level any character can be is 100.
Stat Caps
- Spoiler:
- We have a system of caps, which sets a limit on how much you can train a single stat.
No stat may exceed 50.
New Player Starting Stats
- Spoiler:
- New players' starting stats are as follows:
Melee: 0/50
Magic: 0/50
Defense: 0/50
Speed: 0/50
Upon character approval, each player is given 4 stat points to distribute as they please. This means each player starts off as level 4 at 400exp.
Actions and Timing
- Spoiler:
- Players are allowed 1 Standard Action and 1 Defensive Action per Round normally.
A Standard Action may be many things. Activating a Spell, attacking a target, using an item etc. are examples of Standard Actions. "Additional Actions" are bonus actions granted from various effects and are detailed in their effects.
During a round, both players choose their standard action normally and sends it to the mod. Defensive actions have their own conditions for activation and 2 may be sent to a mod during around (pending activation conditions) but only one may activate per round (whichever condition is met first supersedes the other).
Each player has an offensive speed secondary that is calculated by adding that player’s speed and melee or magic stat (depending on the attack used) and dividing it by 2. The player with the higher offensive speed secondary resolves their attack or action first.
If multiple actions occur by a player then a speed stack occurs. Their 2nd action speed is altered by the speed of the first action and becomes the sum of both. This only occurs if multiple standard actions are used during a single round and resets once that round ends.
Secondaries
- Spoiler:
- The following are the formulas for how to calculate your character’s secondaries, based on stat values:
- Melee Speed = [(Melee + Speed)/(2)]
- Magic Speed = [(Magic + Speed)/(2)]
- Item Speed = [(Defense + Speed)/(2)]
- Melee Defense = [(Melee + Defense)/(2)]
- Magic Defense = [(Magic + Defense)/(2)]
- Melee Speed = [(Melee + Speed)/(2)]
