The Golden Rule
Treat other players the way you would like to be treated. Be civil. Do not harass or insult others, or bait them to do the same. Don’t spam, troll etc. If someone is upset with your behavior and asks you to stop, stop.
Simply put, behave. We aren’t going into an exhaustive list of all possible behaviors that are against the spirit of this community when it comes to interacting with each other. We trust that you are all intelligent and responsible enough to know what’s acceptable and what’s not.
If you’re debating whether or not something breaks this rule, chances are it does and just don’t do it. Or ask a Moderator or Admin.
RP Rules
Posting Order. Refrain from double posting. Maintain post order by allowing others in the topic to respond before posting again. Participants are given 96hrs (4 days) to respond, after which they may be skipped by the next in line of post order. In situations where only 2 participants are rping and one fails to respond in the time allotted, the other may exit the rp due to inactivity.
Word Count Minimums. Minimum wordcount for roleplays is 50 words.
Topic Necromancy. An RP that everyone has left is considered a Finished topic. An RP topic which has not been posted in for at least 7 OOC days is considered an Inactive Topic.
Do not godmod. For those who are new to roleplay, that means do not attempt to control the actions of another player without their consent. Godmodding takes many forms. It could be attacking someone and injuring them without giving them the chance to respond, or stealing something in front of them and having them not notice. If you are determining the actions or response of another player in any way without their approval, it’s god-modding. Don’t do it.
Don’t metagame. This means your character should only know what is reasonable for someone in their position to know. An example would be walking up to a character you’ve never met and who you’ve had no reasonable opportunity to learn anything about and knowing their life story. Most instances of metagaming won’t be this extreme, but it’s happened before. So...don't. If you have questions about if your character should know about something, ask the relevant party, or a Moderator or Admin.
Violence. As a site about roleplaying superpowered ninjas, violence is expected and allowed. We are lenient with gore and descriptions of violence, with a notable exception. Sexual violence is absolutely not allowed.
Sex. People have sex, so once again it’s expected. However, don’t go into explicit detail. We don’t want to see straight out smut. If you hit that line, a tasteful fade to black will do. Finally, any sort of sexual activity involving minors is forbidden. Don’t lewd the lolis.
Language. Speak however you want in roleplay. Cursing and all sorts of mature language are allowed. In out of character zones, however, keep things within reason.
These last three follow a 2-2-2 rating from the RPG Rating System.
Taboos
Time Travel. All time travel is forbidden. Time skips forward are alright within reason, as characters are not held to strict age progression.
Images. Keep everything SFW and tasteful. No porn or anything explicit.
Multi Accounting. Multiple accounts is strictly prohibited. You may not and will not have more than one account on this sight. If multiple users are within the same household, please let a moderator or admin know to elevate any confusion.
